Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you had a safe and festive holiday weekend. Another quick last hour edition of your favorite weekly recommendations email (maybe?) to keep that midnight oil burning.

Quite possibly System's most mellow tune. Beautifully shot, nearly all in slo-mo, and no doubt symbolic... What think ye?

OPRAH! Maybe that got someone's attention... hopefully someone who usually skips over this section of AllMoPs. Oprah sent a thunderbolt in the gamerain when she announced each adult woman in her studio audience would be receiving a XBOX 360 w/ Kinect (it comes out Tuesday and you really ought to know what it is). Here is the clip from a recent "Oprah." (For whatever reason I couldn't find a decent one with synched audio.) Lots to point out here: Oprah's mispronunciation of the product itself, her awkward raving ("It's your ENTIRE BODY... CONTROLLING... THE VIDEO GAMES... okay?"), and the ridiculous audience reaction. What a show!

You really must behold these astonishing ten minutes of gameplay footage for "Bioshock: Infinite." Sure, full of scripted events, but still, when they look this good and feature gameplay that works well, I won't complain a bit. I have only played a demo of the first, which was absolutely amazing. Again, this game isn't coming out till 2012, so I've got plenty of time play through the first two. "Bioshock: Infinite" is pretty different from the first two (or so I hear).

"Fable 3" debuted in retail on Tuesday with an impressive 81% on Metacritic. Here's a particularly praising review from Official Xbox Magazine.

"The Descent" - the crazy creatures = "Sanctum." Looks pretty enough and interesting enough. Meh. Maybe.

The "Okay...": "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never." I'm very oblivious to the kid, but props to him never giving up... wait... he's only 16...

Nothing I'm leaving my lasso around this week folks.

Top 50 Horror Movies - Rotten Tomatoes: I figured this was appropriate given the season. A lot of people are upset to not find "The Exorcist" on this list. Having yet to see it, I'm not one of them. Couldn't be more pleased with their #1.

  • Monsters* - 64%
  • Saw 3D - 8%

  • The Girl Who Played With Fire (Flickan som lekte med elden) - 68%
  • The Infidel - 62%
  • Sex and the City 2 - 16%
  • Winter's Bone - 94%
